Final Taught Lesson 2017

It was our last chance to wrap up any outstanding work this week. We heard excellent presentations from Gayatri (Singapour), Anna (Greece) and Mael (The Philippines). I know I learnt a lot, so I’m sure the class did too!

After break, we watched the P6 Roald Dahl plays, recalled what we learnt throughout the year with a picture quiz, and wrote a letter to next year’s P4B students, letting them know what to expect.

Below are details of the compulsory summer reading (the sheets the children were given are optional). I’ll leave you with some instructions for tasty Greek Slouvaki. Have a great summer!

Compulsory Reading:

  • Fortunately, the Milk by Neil Gaiman
  • Charlotte’s Webb by E.B. White

Optional extras:

  • The Legend of Spud Murphy by Eoin Colfer
  • Atticus Claws Breaks the Law by Jennifer Gray
  • Cartoon Kid by Jeremy Strong
  • Sam Silver: Undercover Pirate by Jan Burchett & Sara Vogler
  • The BFG by Roald Dahl
